The History
The business started in 1987 by Sue Richardson as a mobile Book-Keeping service. In 2000 it became necessary to move to larger premises in the village of Mappleton. Our latest move, back into Ashbourne was as a result of our continued growth.
By having previously invested in technology at regular intervals, we can now keep our costs down through the time-saving methods we now employ.
We were one of the first practices, locally, to offer the full £825 HMRC rebate to all its payroll clients, by adopting electronic filing of annual returns as soon as it was introduced.
The Future
We are already using software to meet the forthcoming requirement to file self-assessment returns on-line and we will continue to stay ahead of the game as far as software and technology developments. This ensures that the practice is in an ideal position to offer its clients the latest requirements and HMRC compliance, as the legislation continues to evolve.
We offer assistance to our clients that matches their own level of desire to adopt technology.
If you prefer to present us with a hand written account of your finances, we will process that data just as we would from our more technologically minded clients. But if you prefer to share computerised data-files with us, using email and other electronic means, then we can provide our services at that level, also, and will share the cost-savings with you.
The Team
We believe that staff in this profession need to be well trained and efficient, polite and confident. Our staff receive on-going training throughout their career here, both internal and external depending on individual requirements. Our staff have a range of diverse skills and we also employ external support in specialist circumstances, to ensure that we can provide you with a quality, cost-efficient service, making full use of modern technology and software, whilst engaging, on your behalf, specialist help only as and when it is required.
Each of our staff members is able to help with queries from any one of our clients. There may be times when referrals to other staff are necessary but, wherever possible, your query will be answered without delay, ensuring that you have access to information as and when you require it.
